ENTRY ON THE DAY

We do take entries on the day, please download a route map and entry form and bring it along on the day

Welcome to the fourth running of the Tour of the Pennines IV Hilly Classic. This year we have three routes to choose from. We have introduced a shorter route for the less fit and less experienced riders. An intermediate route for the seasoned sportive campaigners and we have increased the length of the long route to make it a bit more of a challenge for the hardened sportive riders.

Once again we will be starting at the Radclyffe Athletics Centre in Chadderton, Oldham.  The routes takes the riders around the Saddleworth Moors passing through Delph the setting for the film Brass starring Ewan McGregor, Dobcross the setting for Yanks film starring Richard Gere, it also passes through Last of the Summer Wine Country. There are fantastic views, Challenging Climbs, Fast Descents, Winding Valley roads and some Stunning Scenery.

We will have a professional photographer on hand to get those action shots and Sportive Nation the who have a fabulous new bike shop in Hazel Grove will be on hand to sort out those mechanical problems.
